Terms of Service

Welcome to Sundarban Bengal Travel. By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before finalizing your trip.

1. Booking & ID Proof

All bookings are subject to availability. To process your forest entry permits (required by the Government of West Bengal), every traveler must provide a valid Government-issued Photo ID proof (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving License) at the time of booking.

2. Passenger Responsibility

  • Travelers are responsible for their personal belongings. We are not liable for any loss or damage to your items during the tour.
  • Guests must follow the instructions of our Forest Guide and Boat Staff at all times for their own safety.
  • Consumption of alcohol or smoking inside the core forest area is strictly prohibited as per Forest Department rules.

3. Forest Rules & Environment

Sundarbans is a plastic-free zone. Carrying or littering plastic bags, bottles, or packets inside the forest is a punishable offense.
  • Keep the forest quiet. Do not play loud music or make loud noises during the boat safari.
  • Do not attempt to feed or provoke any wild animals.
  • Do not throw any waste into the river or the forest.

4. Wildlife Sightings

Sundarban is a natural habitat and not a zoo. Wildlife sightings (including the Royal Bengal Tiger) depend entirely on luck and nature. No refund or compensation will be provided if a specific animal is not spotted during the safari.

5. Liability & Force Majeure

Sundarban Bengal Travel shall not be held responsible for any changes in the itinerary or cancellation of tours due to natural calamities, heavy rain, cyclones, government restrictions, strikes, or any other unavoidable circumstances (Force Majeure).

6. Health & Medical

Travelers should be in good health. While we carry basic first-aid, we are not liable for any sudden illness or accidents. Guests with serious medical conditions are advised to consult their doctor before booking a jungle safari.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice. The updated terms will be applicable to all bookings made thereafter.
